My name is Ryan Baskin I am from Columbia, South Carolina. I graduated from Savannah College of Arts and Design with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. There I got the chance to learn from experienced designers and collaborate with other students. During my time at SCAD, I became proficient with programs in the Adobe Creative Suites: InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator. I also have some experience in programs such as Lightroom and Dreamweaver. I have acquired a strong foundation in areas such as branding, logo design, and advertising design. My time at SCAD has provided me with an in-depth understanding of designing and implementing visual communication materials.

Before entering Savannah College of Art and Design I attended the University of South Carolina and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. I really think that my background in Biology has helped me with my design work. Since I have had time to develop my left brain I see things from a totally different point of view and bring many different things to the table. I always like a good challenge and like to learn new things. I also held many jobs in the food industry and the medical field. Working in the service industry has helped me deal with many different types of people, work well with others, help me with my communication skills, and work well under pressure.

I have many interests and passions which I try to put into my work as much as possible!
